Pipe connection
★ Execute pipe socket connections with precision by adhering to the outlined procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before applying any bonding agents.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the corresponding pipe port for precision alignment.
3. Apply adhesive systematically—first on the socket, then the pipe—to ensure an even and adequate coating.
4. Align accurately and insert the pipe into the marked position in one movement, twisting a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket area to maintain a clean connection.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface has fully cured, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents strictly as needed. Unauthorized personnel should not handle these substances.
2. Maintain good ventilation and ensure there are no open flames near the bonding area.
3. Avoid construction activities at temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction workers must wear gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe length by measuring each layer and considering the dimensions of connected pipe fittings. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure the section is flat and undeformed. Create a 15°-30° groove at the adhesive socket using a medium board file. The groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3 to 1/2 the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris after grooving for optimal connection.
Socket protection:
Clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to cure statically, adapting for adhesive performance and environmental conditions. Extend curing time for winter installations.
