Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal performance with precise pipe socket connections, following these essential steps for a secure bond:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive meticulously, starting with the socket followed by the pipe, ensuring even and sufficient coverage.
4. Align accurately, inserting into the marked area with a 1/4 turn for a perfect fit.
5. Clean any residual adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface fully cures, securing a lasting connection.
★ Adhere to safety measures for adhesive use, following these key guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to non-operating personnel.
2. Maintain a flame-free bonding environment with ample ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC; refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In cases of eye contact with adhesive, rinse with plenty of water immediately and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths accurately according to precise measurements and connected fittings' dimensions. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe-cutting machines to ensure smooth, flat cuts without section deformation. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a depth of no less than 3mm and thickness between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving for clean adhesion.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth and a little detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure based on adhesive properties and climate. Extend curing time in winter conditions for reliable results.
