Pipe Connection
★ For a secure pipe socket connection, follow these precise procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for accurate alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Align the components and insert the pipe into the marked position, rotating it 1/4 turn for secure attachment.
5. Wipe off any excess adhesive from the socket to keep the connection clean.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to the following provisions to ensure the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, keeping them away from non-operators.
2. Avoid open flames at the bonding site and ensure proper ventilation.
3. Do not conduct bonding operations below -10ºC, and never use fire to speed up the drying process.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe according to measured dimensions and the specifications of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines. Ensure the cut is flat with no deformations. File the socket to be glued into a 15°-30° groove, not less than 3mm in length and 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After connecting, clean the extruded adhesive with a cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to cure according to the adhesive's performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction.
