Pipe connection
★ To ensure a secure pipe socket connection, please strictly follow these procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets before applying adhesive.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, first to the socket and then to the pipe, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked portion, then rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive cures completely.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and never use fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length according to measurements and connected pipe fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. For gluing, bevel the socket edge at a 15°-30° angle, with a groove length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean away debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting the socket, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dampened with detergent like acetone. Let it sit undisturbed until fully cured per adhesive performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction.
