Pipe connection
★ Ensure precision with pipe socket connections by meticulously following these procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets before initiating bonding.
2. Measure and clearly mark the socket depth on the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive generously; begin with the socket, then coat the fitting, ensuring even distribution.
4. Properly align, insert fully to the marked section in one swift motion, then rotate 1/4 turn for secure attachment.
5. Remove excess adhesive from the socket area to ensure a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded assembly to stand until the connection is fully cured for optimal stability.
★ Adhere to these essential adhesive safety guidelines for safe usage:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; restrict access to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a no open flame policy near bonding areas and ensure proper ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and do not apply heat directly to adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact, promptly rinse with ample water and seek medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely, matching measured dimensions and connected fittings. Employ fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut, avoiding section deformation. Fashion a 15°-30° groove at the socket with a medium board file, ensuring a minimum length of 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for optimal results.
Socket protection:
After securing the socket, carefully clean the extruded adhesive with a cotton yarn or dry cloth dampened with a light solvent like acetone. Allow it to remain static until the adhesive cures in accordance with its performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction for best outcomes.
