Pipe connection
★ Ensure precise pipe socket connections by adhering to the following detailed procedures:
1. Clean the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before applying adhesive for optimal bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Align precisely, insert into the marked position in one swift motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for secure fitting.
5. Thoroughly wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the adhesive cures fully, ensuring a solid joint.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines for adhesive use to maintain a safe working environment:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, and restrict access to trained personnel.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site, and maintain excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and never apply heat directly to the adhesive.
4. Construction personnel should wear protective gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The precise length of the saw pipe is determined based on accurate measurements and the size of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure the cut is flat with no sectional deformations. For optimal bonding, file the socket part into a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file. The groove should be no less than 3mm in length, with a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean off debris post-grooving to ensure a secure fit.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive using a cotton yarn or dry cloth lightly moistened with detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure statically, adjusting curing time according to the adhesive's properties and weather conditions, especially in winter.
