Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps for a robust pipe socket connection:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive, ensuring an even coating, first on the socket and then on the pipe socket.
4. Insert with aligned direction, turning 1/4 at the marking for secure fitting.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safe adhesive usage guidelines:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting use to trained operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site, and guarantee adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Personnel should wear protective gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on accurate measurements and the dimensions of connecting fittings. Utilize fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision cuts. Ensure the cut is smooth with no deformation. Taper the socket end into a 15°-30° groove, maintaining a length of at least 3mm and a depth of 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Remove debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive with a detergent-dipped cloth. Allow the joint to cure based on adhesive performance and weather. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
