Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by meticulously following these procedures:
1. Begin by cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive starting with the socket, followed by the pipe fitting, ensuring a uniform and adequate coating.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe into the marking, executing a 1/4 turn for a perfect fit.
5. Remove excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean and secure bond.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring structural integrity.
★ Follow these important guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding points and ensure proper ventilation throughout the process.
3. Construction should not proceed below -10ºC, and avoid using open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and dimensions of each connected fitting. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines to achieve a flat, deformation-free section. File the socket part into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a minimum length of 3mm and a thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove any debris post-grooving for optimal adhesion.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with detergents like acetone. Allow the joint to cure according to adhesive properties and climatic conditions, extending curing time during winter for optimal results.
