Pipe connection
★Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by meticulously following these steps:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket followed by the pipe, ensuring even coverage.
4. Align the pipes, insert them to the marked depth in one smooth motion, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★Adhesive safety guidelines to follow:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, and restrict access to non-operators.
2. Ensure no open flames are near the bonding area and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and never use fire to accelerate curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe based on measurements and dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut with no section deformation. Chamfer the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, with a length of at least 3mm and a groove depth of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive with a detergent-dipped cloth, and allow the interface to cure according to adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction for optimal results.
