Pipe connection
★ Execute pipe socket connections meticulously by following these key procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, ensure the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive evenly; start with the socket, then proceed to coat the pipe, ensuring a uniform layer.
4. Align correctly, insert firmly to the marked area, and give a 1/4 turn for optimal bonding.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand undisturbed until the interface fully cures.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive usage:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents sensibly, restricting access to non-operational personnel.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site while ensuring excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction activities below -10ºC, and never use open flames to dry the adhesive points.
4. Personnel must wear gloves; in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length layer-by-layer in alignment with measurements and fitting dimensions. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precision. Ensure a clean, deformation-free cut. File a 15°-30° groove for bonding, with a length no less than 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Ensure all debris is removed post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After connection, cleanse excess adhesive with cotton or a cloth dampened with detergent like acetone. Allow to cure based on adhesive properties and climate. Extend curing time during winter for best results.
