Pipe connection
★ Ensure a perfect socket connection by meticulously following the detailed procedures outlined below:
1. Prior to bonding, both the pipe socket and fitting socket must be thoroughly cleaned.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe for precision.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, coating the socket first followed by the pipe, ensuring uniform distribution.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked area, giving it a slight 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive has fully cured, ensuring a secure joint.
★ Adhering to these safety guidelines is critical for the safe application of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents strictly as needed, and restrict access to trained operators only.
2. Maintain good ventilation and avoid open flames at the bonding site to ensure safety.
3. Construction should not proceed below -10ºC, and do not use fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Accurately determine pipe length layer by layer using precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Choose fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for perfect cuts. Ensure no deformation at the section with a flat break. Prepare the socket for bonding by filing a 15°-30° groove, 3mm or more in length and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean thoroughly post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-socket connection, meticulously clean excess adhesive with cotton yarn or cloth using mild detergents like acetone. Allow the interface to cure statically based on the adhesive's properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time suitably during winter construction.
