Pipe connection
★ Ensure precision in pipe socket connections by adhering strictly to the following detailed procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, meticulously clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the corresponding pipe port for exact alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive with care, starting with the socket, then the pipe, ensuring a uniform and adequate coating.
4. Align the components, insert them to the marked area, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure the bond.
5. Carefully wipe away any adhesive that remains in the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the joint is fully cured, ensuring a solid fit.
★ Adhere to the following safety provisions when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly; access should be restricted to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free zone at bonding sites and ensure ample ventilation to maximize safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Tailor each pipe length according to precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Choose fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure a flat section without deformation. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, generally over 3mm in length and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean off debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, delicately clean extruded adhesive with detergent-dampened cotton yarn or cloth. Allow to cure uninterrupted, adapting cure time based on adhesive characteristics and weather, especially extending during winter.
