Pipe Connection
★ For optimal results, follow these precise procedures during pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and the fitting socket prior to bonding to ensure a strong and secure connection.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive with care, first coating the socket evenly, followed by the pipe, ensuring a consistent and appropriate application.
4. Align the components correctly, insert firmly into the marking, and give a 1/4 turn to secure the bond.
5. Immediately clean any excess adhesive from the socket area to maintain a neat and professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the adhesive has fully cured, ensuring a lasting and dependable connection.
★ Ensure the safe use of adhesives by adhering to these essential guidelines:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; non-operational personnel should not handle these materials.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding points and ensure adequate ventilation to prevent hazards.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points, ensuring safe and effective application.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves for safety. In the event of adhesive contact with eyes, flush immediately with ample water and seek medical attention if necessary.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the pipe length for each layer based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut. Ensure a flat fracture with no section deformation. The socket to be glued can be grooved at a 15°-30° angle using a medium board file. Maintain a groove length of at least 3mm, with a thickness between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pipe wall. After grooving, remove any debris for a clean surface.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, cleanse any extruded adhesive from the socket using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure according to adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction for optimal results.
