Pipe connection
★ For optimal socket connections, follow these meticulous procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, ensure the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the fitting, ensuring uniform and adequate coverage.
4. Align accurately, insert into the marked position, and rotate a quarter turn for secure fitting.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for a secure connection.
★ Follow these essential safety guidelines for adhesive application:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; restrict access to non-operators to ensure safety.
2. Ensure no open flames are near the bonding area and maintain proper ventilation at all times.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip workers with gloves; in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Carefully determine saw pipe lengths based on measured dimensions and fittings. Use fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure no deformities at the section. File a groove of 15°-30° on the socket to be glued, with a groove length of at least 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove any debris post-grooving for seamless installation.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, use cotton yarn or a dry cloth with mild detergent like acetone to clean off excess adhesive. Allow to cure based on adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter for optimal results.
