Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, follow these meticulous steps when executing a pipe socket connection:
1. Begin with a clean slate by thoroughly wiping both the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Accurately measure socket depth and make a precise mark at the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Carefully align and insert to the marked depth in one motion, rotating a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured, guaranteeing strong connections.
★ Adhere to these crucial guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents sparingly as required, ensuring non-operators handle them only under supervision.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site and ensure proper ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to hasten adhesive setting.
4. Equip workers with gloves for protection. Should adhesive contact occur with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Customize pipe lengths by layer based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure flat, deformation-free sections. For optimal bonding, file a 15°-30° groove of at least 3mm in length and 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Remove all debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure in accordance with adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction for best results.
