Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure pipe socket connections by strictly adhering to these procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets before bonding.
2. Measure socket depth and mark it on the pipe for precision.
3. Apply adhesive: begin with the socket, then the fitting, ensuring an even and suitable coating.
4. Align and insert into the marked position, giving a quarter turn for secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Follow these guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Only operators should handle adhesives and cleaning agents as needed.
2. Maintain a flame-free zone at the bonding site with adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction staff with gloves. In case of eye contact, rinse with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths according to measurements and fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean, deformation-free cuts. File a 15°-30° groove for the socket, ensuring a length of at least 3mm and a groove thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
After connecting, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth soaked in a mild detergent like acetone. Let the joint cure as per adhesive properties and weather, extending curing time during winter.
