Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure pipe connections by adhering to the following detailed procedure:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to the bonding process.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive meticulously, coating the socket first followed by the pipe socket, ensuring even and adequate coverage.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe into the marked section, executing a 1/4 turn for optimal fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket area to maintain a clean and professional finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured, ensuring a secure connection.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting usage to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain an open flame-free environment near bonding points and ensure proper ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from heating adhesive points with fire.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Precisely determine the pipe length layer-by-layer based on measurements and fitting dimensions. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without section deformation. File the socket end into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a minimum length of 3mm and a thickness between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear debris post-grooving for optimal bonding.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a detergent-dipped dry cloth like acetone. Let it cure statically according to adhesive performance and weather. Extend curing duration for winter constructions.
