Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise steps for pipe socket connections to ensure optimal results:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket's insertion depth on the pipe.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly—begin with the socket and then the fitting socket—ensuring an even coat.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked area with one smooth motion, turning it 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Carefully remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the adhesive is fully cured, ensuring a durable joint.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Only designated personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, as per requirement.
2. Maintain excellent ventilation at bonding sites, avoiding open flames to ensure safety.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and never use an open flame to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction teams should wear gloves, and in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths by precise measurements of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for smooth, deformation-free cuts. For glued sockets, form a 15°-30° groove with a medium file. Groove length should exceed 3mm, with thickness between 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive with a dry cloth dipped in detergent like acetone. Let the joint cure undisturbed as per adhesive and climate conditions, extending curing time in winter.
