Pipe connection
★ For optimal pipe socket connection, adhere strictly to the guidelines outlined below:
1. Prior to bonding, ensure that the pipe socket and fittings are meticulously cleaned.
2. Accurately measure and mark the depth of the socket on the pipe for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket, to ensure a uniform and adequate coating.
4. Align correctly and insert into the marked position in one motion, twisting 1/4 turn for secure fitting.
5. Carefully wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface has fully cured.
★ Ensure the safe use of adhesives by complying with these crucial safety measures:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, keeping them away from unauthorized personnel.
2. Avoid open flames at the bonding site, and ensure proper ventilation is maintained at all times.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and do not dry adhesive points with fire.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with copious water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise layer-by-layer measurements of each connected fitting. Employ fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a clean cut, ensuring no deformation at the section. The socket part should be filed into a 15°-30° groove, with a groove length of at least 3mm and thickness between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive with cloth or cotton yarn lightly soaked in detergent like acetone. Allow static curing based on adhesive performance and weather conditions, extending curing times during winter construction when necessary.
