Pipe connection
★ Ensure precise pipe socket connections by following these meticulous procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket before bonding to ensure a secure fit.
2. Carefully measure the socket depth and accurately mark the pipe port to guide the insertion.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Align correctly, insert swiftly up to the marked section, and rotate one-quarter turn for optimal bond.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat and secure seal.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured for maximum stability.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives for optimal protection:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames near the bonding site and provide ample ventilation.
3. Avoid constructing below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction personnel should be equipped with gloves. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse immediately with abundant water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Cut the pipe to precise lengths according to accurate measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts, ensuring flat, deformation-free sections. File the socket portion to a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, ensuring a length of no less than 3mm and a depth of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove all debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After securely connecting the socket, gently clean extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a touch of detergent such as acetone. Allow to cure based on adhesive performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time for winter applications.
