Pipe connection
★ To ensure secure pipe socket connections, adhere strictly to the outlined procedures for optimal results:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and fitting socket before initiating the bonding process.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Carefully apply adhesive, starting with the socket and then the fitting, ensuring an even and adequate coat.
4. Align the pipes in the intended direction, insert into the marked section in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong and lasting connection.
★ Adhere to the following guidelines for safe adhesive use, ensuring a secure and hazard-free environment:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, restricting access to non-operators to maintain safety.
2. Ensure the bonding area is free from open flames and well-ventilated to prevent any potential hazards.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and do not use fire to hasten adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths according to precise layer measurements and dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines. Ensure cuts are flat and free from deformation. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, with a length not less than 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-groove completion.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to remain static until cured, based on adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately in winter.
