Pipe connection
★ For optimal results, perform pipe socket connections by adhering to the following meticulous procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets before applying adhesive.
2. Mark the pipe port after measuring the depth of the socket for precision.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align precisely and insert into the marked section, rotating 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean away any excess adhesive from the socket to ensure a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has thoroughly cured.
★ Adhere to the safety guidelines for adhesive use as follows:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; restrict access to non-operating personnel.
2. Ensure there are no open flames at the bonding site and maintain adequate ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and never use an open flame to accelerate drying.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely based on measured dimensions and each pipe fitting. Use tools such as a fine-tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine. The cut should be perpendicular, with no deformation. For optimal bonding, file the socket end to a 15°-30° groove. Ensure the groove is at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall thickness. Remove any debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean off any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a small amount of detergent like acetone. Let the joint cure according to adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time in winter.
