Pipe connection
★ Ensure a proper and secure socket connection by following these meticulous procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying any adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Carefully apply the adhesive, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe socket. Ensure an even and adequate coating.
4. Align the direction precisely, insert fully into the marked position, and rotate a quarter turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured for optimal results.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for the responsible use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; they should be handled only by authorized personnel.
2. Maintain good ventilation and ensure no open flames are near the bonding area.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to heat the adhesive point.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and in case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical assistance.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on accurate measurements and the size of the connected fittings. Select fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts, ensuring a flat, undeformed section. Create a groove of 15°-30° using a medium board file, with a length not less than 3mm and a depth of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear debris post-grooving for clean adhesion.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean off any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a bit of detergent such as acetone. Allow the interface to cure in accordance with adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction for optimal results.
