Pipe connection
★ Master the art of pipe socket connections by following these methodical procedures for optimal results:
1. Ensure a flawless bond by meticulously wiping both the pipe and fitting sockets clean prior to bonding.
2. Precisely measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe port for accurate alignment.
3. Apply adhesive with care, starting with the socket and then the fitting, ensuring an even coat for a robust connection.
4. Align and insert the pipe precisely to the marked depth, giving a 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface fully cures for a strong and enduring bond.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for the prudent use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, restricting access to designated personnel.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain excellent ventilation.
3. Refrain from constructing in temperatures below -10ºC, and never apply heat to the adhesive point.
4. Equip personnel with gloves, and if adhesive contact occurs with eyes, promptly rinse with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length according to precise measurements. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for accurate cuts. Ensure flat fractures and no section deformation. File the socket ends to a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a length of at least 3mm and a groove thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean thoroughly after grooving.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, clean excess adhesive with a detergent-soaked cloth. Maintain static conditions until the interface cures. In winter, allow extra curing time according to adhesive performance and weather.
