Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous procedures for a secure pipe socket connection:
1. Ensure pipe and fitting sockets are thoroughly cleaned before proceeding with bonding.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive carefully, coating both the socket and the pipe evenly for optimal bonding.
4. Align accurately, insert to the mark, and rotate 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the adhesive has fully cured.
★ For the safe use of adhesives, adhere to these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Ensure the work area is well-ventilated, with no open flames present at the bonding site.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip workers with gloves, and if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine pipe lengths precisely per layer, using fine-toothed saws or cutting machines. Ensure cuts are flat with no section deformation, and create a 15°-30° groove filing, maintaining groove length and thickness standards.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean excess adhesive with detergent-dipped cotton or cloth. Allow interface to cure as per adhesive properties and climate, extending curing time during winter constructions.
