Pipe Connection
★ Strict adherence to the following procedures is crucial for pipe socket connections:
1. Ensure the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket are clean before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, first to the socket, then to the socket, ensuring a uniform and appropriate coating.
4. Align the pipes, insert them into the marked section in one motion, and rotate a quarter turn.
5. Wipe away any adhesive remaining in the socket.
6. Keep the bonded pipe standing until the interface is fully cured.
★ For safe adhesive use, adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Only operators should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, and use them as needed.
2. Ensure no open flames at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction personnel must wear gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, flush immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Sawing Pipe and Grooving:
Determine the saw pipe length layer by layer based on measured dimensions and connected pipe fittings. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for sawing. Ensure cuts are flat with no sectional deformation. Groove the socket area to a 15°-30° angle with a medium board file, maintaining a groove length of no less than 3mm and a thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean away debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean any extruded adhesive with a cotton yarn or dry cloth dipped in a mild detergent such as acetone. Allow the interface to cure according to adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
