Pipe Connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps for a secure pipe socket connection:
1. Always clean the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe to guide your installation.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket, followed by the fitting socket, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Align both parts carefully, insert them in one seamless motion to the marked depth, and rotate a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive cures, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, and restrict their use to trained personnel.
2. Ensure a flame-free, well-ventilated environment near the bonding site to maintain safety.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Protective gloves should be worn by all personnel. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine pipe lengths layer by layer based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Utilize fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. The section must remain non-deformed. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, ensuring the groove length is at least 3mm and thickness is 1/3-1/2 of the wall. Clean away debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, gently clean any extruded adhesive with cotton or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow it to remain static until full curing, adjusting for adhesive performance and weather. Extend curing time in winter conditions for optimal results.
