Pipe Connection
★ Ensure a precise pipe socket connection by strictly following these essential procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, meticulously clean both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precision.
3. Apply the adhesive thoroughly; coat the socket first, followed by the pipe, ensuring an even and sufficient layer.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked position in one go, giving a quarter turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket swiftly.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Only allow trained personnel to handle adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, avoiding misuse by non-operators.
2. Maintain an open flame-free environment at bonding points with excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves; in case of eye contact, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw lengths layer by layer based on precise measurements and dimensions of each pipe fitting. Use a fine-tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine for a clean cut, ensuring no deformation at the section. File a 15°-30° groove at the socket to be glued, with a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean off any debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean off extruded adhesive with a cotton yarn or dry cloth using a mild detergent like acetone. Let the joint sit until cured based on adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction for optimal results.
