Pipe connection
★ For optimal pipe socket connections, strictly adhere to the following procedures:
1. Ensure cleanliness by wiping the pipe socket and fitting socket before bonding.
2. Precisely measure the depth of the socket and accurately mark the pipe port.
3. Apply the adhesive evenly—first to the socket, followed by the fitting socket—ensuring a consistent and appropriate coating.
4. Align the direction perfectly, insert into the marked area in one smooth motion, and add a 1/4 turn for optimal bonding.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the joint is fully cured.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines for adhesive use:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents strictly as needed, restricting use to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites and ensure excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction under -10ºC and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction staff with gloves; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Carefully determine the length of the saw pipe layer by layer based on precise measurements and each fitting's dimensions. Opt for fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe-cutting machines for an immaculate finish. Ensure a flat fracture and zero section deformation. File the socket part slated for gluing into a precise 15°-30° groove, with a length of no less than 3mm and a thickness constituting 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall's thickness. Thoroughly clean off debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, meticulously cleanse any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth slightly moistened with detergents like acetone. Allow static curing according to adhesive properties and weather conditions, extending curing time suitably during winter construction.
