Pipe connection
★ Meticulous pipe socket connections are crucial and should follow these precise procedures:
1. Ensure that both the pipe socket and fitting socket are clean before commencing bonding for optimal results.
2. Precisely measure the socket depth, marking the pipe port accordingly for accurate alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive methodically, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked section in one smooth motion, rotating it by 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Thoroughly clean any residual adhesive from the socket to maintain neatness and function.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to remain upright until the interface is fully cured for maximum strength.
★ For safe adhesive usage, adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Only authorized operators should handle adhesives and cleaning agents, using them responsibly as needed.
2. Ensure the bonding area is devoid of open flames and well-ventilated for safety.
3. Avoid operations below -10ºC; do not use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Workers should wear gloves for protection. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Define the saw pipe length meticulously based on measurements and dimensions of each fitting. Choose fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines as needed. Ensure the cut is flat with no section deformities. The socket portion to be glued should be grooved to 15°-30° with a medium board file, with a length not less than 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for optimal adhesion.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow to stand until curing is complete based on adhesive performance and climate. Extend curing time for winter conditions as necessary.
