Pipe connection
★ Adhere strictly to the following detailed steps when executing pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and precisely mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive evenly—begin with the socket, followed by the pipe—ensuring uniform and adequate coverage.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe into the marked section in one swift motion, then rotate it a quarter turn.
5. Promptly wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the joint is fully cured.
★ Ensure safe adhesive usage by adhering to these guidelines:
1. Only authorized personnel should handle adhesives and cleaning agents.
2. Maintain a flameless environment at the bonding site and ensure excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to heat the adhesive points.
4. Equip construction staff with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length layer by layer, based on precise measurements and the dimensional requirements of each connected fitting. Choose tools like fine tooth saws or pipe cutting machines. Ensure flat, deformation-free cuts. Create a 15°-30° groove at the socket end with a medium board file, a minimum of 3mm long, and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-groove.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, cleanse extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure undisturbed, considering adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately for winter construction.
