Pipe connection
★ Follow these meticulous steps for pipe socket connection to ensure optimal results:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying the adhesive.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and make a mark on the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, coating the socket first, followed by the pipe, for a perfect bond.
4. Carefully align and swiftly insert into the marked area, executing a precise 1/4 turn rotation.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a flawless finish.
6. Securely stand the bonded pipe until the interface is fully cured, ensuring stability.
★ Adhere to the following safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting access to authorized personnel only.
2. Ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site and maintain excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and refrain from using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Protective gloves are essential for personnel; if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely, considering each layer's measurements and the dimensions of connected fittings. Use high-quality tools like a fine tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine for clean, distortion-free cuts. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a groove length of at least 3mm. Groove depth should be 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear debris post-grooving for optimal results.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with suitable solvents like acetone. Allow to cure statically, considering adhesive properties and climatic conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction for superior adhesion.
