Pipe connection
★ Follow these precise procedures for pipe socket connections to ensure optimal performance:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding for a pristine connection.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive with care: coat the socket first, followed by the pipe, ensuring an even and appropriate layer.
4. Align carefully, insert to the mark in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn for secure seating.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a robust joint.
★ Ensure adhesive safety by adhering to these essential guidelines:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting use to trained operators only.
2. Maintain a flame-free bonding area with excellent ventilation to ensure safety during the process.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to heat adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. If adhesive contacts eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe length based on precise measurements per layer and specific pipe fitting sizes. Use tools like a fine tooth saw or pipe cutter. Ensure a flat cut with no section deformation. File the socket to a 15°-30° groove as needed, with length not less than 3mm and thickness 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness. Remove debris post-grooving for a clean finish.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or cloth moistened in a detergent like acetone. Allow to cure statically based on adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time appropriately for winter construction.
