Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal pipe socket connections by following these precise procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding to ensure a secure connection.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive carefully, starting with the socket and ensuring an even and appropriate coating.
4. Align the direction meticulously, insert firmly into the marked spot, followed by a 1/4 turn rotation for a secure fit.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a durable connection.
★ Adhere to these provisions for safe adhesive use:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents as needed, restricting use to authorized personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with good ventilation to ensure safety.
3. Avoid constructing below -10ºC and refrain from fire-baking the adhesive point to maintain material integrity.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Cutting precision is key. Determine pipe length based on specific measurements and fitting dimensions. Utilize fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure cuts are flat without deformation. For socket areas, file a groove at 15°-30°, ensuring it meets specified dimensions for optimal bonding.
Socket protection:
After connecting the socket, cleanse any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow to cure in static conditions appropriate to the adhesive and climate. Adjust curing time during winter to ensure proper bonding.
