Pipe Connection
★ For optimal results, pipe socket connections should be performed meticulously, following these essential procedures:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly before bonding to ensure a secure connection.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and clearly mark the pipe port.
3. Apply adhesive evenly and appropriately, starting with the socket and then the pipe fitting socket.
4. Align the components correctly, insert them to the marked point in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket area to maintain a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has fully cured, ensuring a secure bond.
★ Adhere to the following guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Utilize adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed, and ensure they are handled exclusively by trained operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at bonding sites and ensure proper ventilation is in place.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to accelerate adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with protective gloves. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Employ fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for accurate cuts. Ensure the cut is flat with no section deformation. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. The groove should be at least 3mm long and 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris thoroughly after grooving.
Socket Protection:
Clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth moistened with a mild detergent like acetone after socket connection. Allow the interface to static cure based on adhesive properties and weather conditions, extending curing times in winter as necessary.
