Pipe Connection
★ The socket connection process should adhere strictly to the following procedures:
1. Clean both the pipe socket and the fitting socket thoroughly before applying adhesive.
2. Measure and mark the depth for accurate socket insertion.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, coating the socket first, followed by the fitting socket.
4. Align and insert the pipe into the marked depth in one motion, rotating it a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket area.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured.
★ Adhere to the following safety measures when using adhesives:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; unauthorized personnel should avoid handling them.
2. Ensure the bonding site is well-ventilated and free from open flames.
3. Avoid constructing in temperatures below -10ºC and do not use fire to accelerate the curing process.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, flush immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length layer by layer according to precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use appropriate tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines. Ensure a flat and deformation-free cut. File the socket end to a 15°-30° groove with a medium board file, ensuring the groove length is at least 3mm and its depth is 1/3-1/2 the pipe wall thickness. Remove all debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in a solvent like acetone. Allow the interface to cure based on adhesive performance and climatic conditions, extending the curing time for winter constructions if necessary.
