Pipe connection
★ Ensure flawless connections with our pipe socket procedure guidelines:
1. Prior to bonding, clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket thoroughly to ensure a perfect connection.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and precisely mark the pipe port to guarantee precision in fitting.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly: start with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring an even coating for optimum bonding.
4. Align correctly and insert into the marked section in one smooth motion, rotating a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive in the socket area immediately to maintain a neat and effective connection.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface is fully cured, ensuring a strong and lasting bond.
★ Adhere to these safety instructions when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed—unauthorized personnel should refrain from handling them.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding point, ensuring proper ventilation throughout the process.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and do not use open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of accidental eye contact with adhesive, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length meticulously according to measured dimensions of each fitting. Utilize fine-toothed saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean, non-deformed cuts. For optimal bonding, file a 15°-30° groove into the socket portion with a medium board file—ensure the groove length is at least 3mm, and its thickness is 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. After grooving, remove any debris thoroughly.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse the extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to set until the adhesive is cured, with extended curing times recommended for winter construction to ensure durability.
