Pipe connection
★ Ensure secure connections by strictly following these procedural steps for pipe socket connections:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive.
2. Accurately measure and mark the depth of the socket on the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and moving to the pipe, ensuring a uniform and adequate coating.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe to the marking, then rotate it 1/4 turn to ensure a secure bond.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive remaining in the socket for a clean finish.
6. Stabilize the assembled pipe in an upright position until the adhesive cures completely.
★ Adhere to these vital safety guidelines when using adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed. Ensure that only trained personnel handle these substances.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment with proper ventilation at the bonding site to prevent accidents.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and fitting dimensions. Choose appropriate tools like a fine-tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine. Ensure a smooth, deformation-free cut. File the socket connection to a 15°-30° groove, maintaining a depth of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean debris thoroughly after grooving.
Socket protection:
Once connected, use cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone to clean excess adhesive. Allow the connection to cure based on adhesive properties and climate. Extend curing time appropriately for winter conditions.
