Pipe connection
★ Ensure the integrity of pipe socket connections by meticulously following these detailed steps:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean the pipe and fitting sockets to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply the adhesive methodically, coating the socket first followed by the pipe, ensuring a uniform and adequate layer.
4. Carefully align and insert the pipe into the marked section in one go, and secure with a 1/4 turn to ensure a firm connection.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket area for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the interface is fully cured for optimal joint integrity.
★ To ensure safe use of adhesives, adhere to the following essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly and only by designated operators.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with excellent ventilation.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC and do not use open flames to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves and, if adhesive contacts eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention promptly.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
The saw pipe length is meticulously determined for each connection, using tools like a fine tooth saw, cutter, or pipe cutting machine for precision. Ensure a smooth cut with no deformity. Prepare the socket with a 15°-30° groove using a medium file, maintaining a groove length of no less than 3mm, and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris thoroughly post-grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse excess adhesive with cotton or dry cloth dipped in acetone or similar. Allow to static cure as per adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing in winter accordingly.
