2. For pipe diameters dn≥75, hot melt butt or electrofusion connections are recommended for enhanced joint integrity.
3. Metal pipes and accessory connections can be efficiently linked using flange connections or transition pipes for seamless integration.
★ Electrofusion Connection Process
1. Prepare the pipe by cleaning the surface and marking the insertion depth to ensure precision.
2. Carefully scrape the surface layer for optimal adhesion during the fusion process.
3. Align and sleeve the electrofusion fittings onto the pipe, maintaining straight alignment along the same axis for accurate installation.
4. Begin the welding process, observing for slight melt ejection from the hole as an indication of proper fusion.
5. Allow the assembly to cool, completing the electrofusion process for a secure, enduring bond.
