Pipe connection
★ For optimal pipe socket connections, please adhere to the following procedures:
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning both the pipe socket and the pipe fitting socket before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive carefully, starting with the socket followed by the pipe socket, ensuring even and adequate coverage.
4. Align the direction and insert the pipe into the marked position in one swift motion, then rotate it a quarter turn.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipes to stand until the interface has fully cured.
★ Adhere to the following guidelines for the safe use of adhesives:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as required, and restrict access for non-operators.
2. Ensure there are no open flames near the bonding area and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to dry the adhesive point.
4. Construction personnel must wear gloves. If adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the saw pipe length based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines to ensure a smooth cut with no sectional deformation. The socket end to be bonded should be filed into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file. The groove must be at least 3mm in length and should constitute 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clean off any debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean off any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a touch of acetone or a similar detergent. Allow the joint to remain static until fully cured, factoring in adhesive properties and climatic conditions. For winter constructions, extend curing time appropriately.
