Pipe Connection
★ Ensure durability by following these precise steps for pipe socket connection:
1. Thoroughly clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying adhesive to ensure a perfect bond.
2. Measure the socket depth accurately and mark the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and finishing with the pipe end, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Align carefully, insert the pipe to the marked point in one motion, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the joint is fully cured, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Adhere to these guidelines for safe adhesive usage:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously; restrict usage to trained personnel only.
2. Avoid open flames near the bonding area and ensure excellent ventilation for safety.
3. Do not carry out construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Equip personnel with gloves; in case of adhesive contact with eyes, flush immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the length of each pipe section based on precise measurements of the connected fittings. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts without deformation. File the socket end to a 15°-30° groove, ensuring a length of at least 3mm and a thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove all debris post-grooving for a clear path to bonding.
Socket Protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure statically, adjusting the time based on adhesive properties and weather conditions. Extend curing periods appropriately during winter installations.
