Pipe Connection
★ Ensure secure pipe socket connections by strictly following these procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are thoroughly cleaned.
2. Accurately measure the depth of the socket and mark the pipe port accordingly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and following with the pipe end, ensuring uniform coverage.
4. Align and insert the pipe to the marked depth in one motion, then rotate it a quarter turn for a secure fit.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket immediately.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the adhesive is fully cured, guaranteeing a strong seal.
★ Adhere to these guidelines to ensure the safe use of adhesives:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, permitting only trained operators to handle them.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site, ensuring proper ventilation at all times.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and never heat the adhesive point with an open flame.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves, and if adhesive contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine saw pipe length by layer, considering precise measurements of each connected fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for a smooth cut. Ensure flat section edges without deformation. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, maintaining a groove length of at least 3mm and thickness of 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clean debris after grooving.
Socket Protection:
After connecting, remove excess adhesive using a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the connection to cure according to adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately in winter construction.
