Pipe Connection
★ When connecting pipes via sockets, please follow these meticulous steps:
1. Ensure both the pipe socket and fitting socket are clean before beginning the bonding process.
2. Measure the depth of the socket and mark the corresponding depth on the pipe.
3. Apply adhesive, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring an even and adequate coating.
4. Align the pipe and fitting correctly, insert up to the marked depth in one go, and rotate 1/4 turn for a secure fit.
5. Wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until the joint is fully cured.
★ For safe use of adhesives, adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Only use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed. They should not be handled by untrained personnel.
2. Ensure there are no open flames near the bonding area and maintain good ventilation.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and never use fire to speed up the curing process.
4. Construction personnel should wear gloves. In case of adhesive contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Installation Instructions
Saw Pipe and Groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe based on precise measurements and the dimensions of each connecting pipe fitting layer by layer. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for smooth cuts. Ensure the cut section is flat and free from deformation. File the socket area to a 15°-30° groove, with a length no less than 3mm and groove depth 1/3 to 1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove any debris post-grooving.
Socket Protection:
After socket connection, clean the extruded adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure statically, adjusting curing time based on adhesive performance and weather conditions, especially extending the time during winter construction.
