Pipe connection
★ Main methods for pipeline connections include:
1. For pipes with dn≤63, we recommend hot melt socket or electrofusion connections for optimal results.
2. For pipes with dn≥75, it is advisable to use hot melt butt or electrofusion connections to ensure secure and robust fittings.
3. For connecting with metal pipes and other pipeline accessories, flange connections or transition pipe connections are preferred for superior compatibility.
★ Electrofusion connection
1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the pipe's surface to be connected and mark the required insertion depth for precise alignment.
2. Carefully scrape the pipe's surface to prepare it for secure fitting.
3. Slide the electrofusion fittings onto the pipe, ensuring the pipe remains straight and properly aligned on the same axis for optimal connection.
4. Proceed with the electrical welding process, observing for a slight melt ejecting from the hole, which indicates proper welding is achieved.
5. Finally, allow the connection to cool, ensuring the completion of the electrofusion process with precision and reliability.
