Pipe connection
★ Ensure optimal socket connections by strictly adhering to these detailed procedures:
1. Carefully clean both the pipe socket and fitting socket before applying any bonding agents.
2. Accurately measure and mark the socket depth on the pipe to ensure proper fit.
3. Apply adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket, followed by the pipe, ensuring an even coat of bonding agent.
4. Align precisely, inserting the pipe into the socket up to the marked point, and rotate 1/4 turn to secure.
5. Clean off any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy and secure bond.
6. Allow the bonded sections to stand until the adhesive has fully cured, ensuring a solid connection.
★ Follow these safety guidelines for adhesive use to ensure a secure and hazard-free environment:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously, ensuring only trained personnel handle these substances.
2. Maintain a flame-free, well-ventilated work area when bonding, to enhance safety.
3. Avoid working in temperatures below -10ºC, and never use fire to dry adhesive points.
4. Construction staff should wear protective gloves, and in case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine each pipe's sawing length based on precise measurements and connected fittings' dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts. Ensure no deformation at the section. File the socket to a 15°-30° groove; the groove should be at least 3mm, with a thickness between 1/3 and 1/2 of the pipe wall. Remove debris post-grooving.
Socket protection:
After affixing the socket, clean any excess adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a mild detergent like acetone. Allow the bond to cure fully according to adhesive properties and weather conditions. For winter, extend the curing time for optimal results.
