Pipe connection
★ Ensure a reliable pipe socket connection by meticulously following these specific procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket prior to bonding for optimal adhesion.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and clearly mark the pipe port to guide precise assembly.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, starting with the socket and then the pipe, ensuring uniform coverage for a strong bond.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked area in one swift motion, followed by a 1/4 turn to secure connection.
5. Immediately wipe away any excess adhesive from the socket for a clean finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface has cured, ensuring a durable connection.
★ Adhere to these safety guidelines when using adhesives to ensure a secure and hazard-free bonding process:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents judiciously and restrict usage to trained personnel only.
2. Maintain a flame-free environment at the bonding site with adequate ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction at temperatures below -10ºC and do not expose adhesive points to fire.
4. Protective gloves are essential for construction personnel. In case of eye contact with adhesives, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the length of the saw pipe layer by layer based on accurate measurements and each connected pipe fitting's dimensions. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for precise cuts, ensuring a flat fracture with no section deformation. File the socket area into a 15°-30° groove using a medium board file, with a length of at least 3mm. The groove should be 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove all debris post-groove for a clean fit.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in a suitable detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure in a static position according to adhesive performance and climate conditions. Extend curing time for winter projects to ensure a secure bond.
