Pipe connection
★ Execute pipe socket connections meticulously following these structured procedures:
1. Thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket prior to bonding for a pristine connection.
2. Accurately measure the socket depth and mark the pipe port for precision fitting.
3. Apply adhesive evenly, first on the socket, then on the pipe, ensuring a uniform coat.
4. Carefully align and insert into the marked section in one motion, followed by a 1/4 rotation for a secure fit.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat and tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand undisturbed until full curing of the interface is achieved.
★ Adhere to safety protocols for adhesive use with these essential guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents responsibly, restricting access to trained operators only.
2. Ensure no open flames at the bonding site and maintain good ventilation for safety.
3. Avoid construction below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to bake adhesive points.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of eye contact with adhesive, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Carefully measure each layer and connected fitting to determine pipe length. Use fine-tooth saws, cutters, and pipe cutting machines for precise sawing. Ensure a flat fracture with no deformation. For a secure adhesive fit, file the socket into a 15°-30° groove, at least 3mm long and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Clear away debris after grooving.
Socket protection:
Post-connection, cleanse extruding adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth dipped in detergent like acetone. Allow to sit until the adhesive cures, accounting for climate conditions. Extend curing time during winter construction as necessary for optimal results.
