Pipe connection
★ For optimal connection performance, follow these pipe socket connection procedures precisely:
1. Begin by cleaning both the pipe socket and pipe fitting socket thoroughly before bonding.
2. Measure the socket depth carefully and mark the pipe accordingly to ensure precision.
3. Apply the adhesive uniformly, starting with the socket, followed by the fitting, ensuring an even coat.
4. Align and insert the parts in one motion to the marked depth, then rotate by 1/4 turn for secure bonding.
5. Promptly remove any excess adhesive from the socket for a neat finish.
6. Stand the bonded pipe upright until the adhesive cures fully, ensuring a robust connection.
★ Ensure adhesive safety by adhering to these precautions:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents only as needed. Unauthorized individuals should refrain from use.
2. Maintain good ventilation and ensure no open flames are present at the bonding site.
3. Avoid construction in temperatures below -10ºC, and refrain from using fire to accelerate drying.
4. Equip personnel with gloves during handling. Should adhesive contact eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine saw pipe lengths based on precise measurements per layer and the dimensions of each connected fitting. Use fine tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for clean cuts, ensuring no deformation. File the socket section into a 15°-30° groove, with a length no less than 3mm, and a thickness between 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall. Clear debris post-grooving for optimal bonding.
Socket protection:
After socket connection, wipe away excess adhesive with cotton yarn or a dry cloth lightly moistened with a detergent like acetone. Allow the joint to cure without disturbance, adhering to adhesive performance and weather conditions. Extend curing time appropriately during winter construction.
