Pipe connection
★ Ensure a secure pipe socket connection by meticulously following these essential procedures:
1. Prior to bonding, thoroughly clean the pipe socket and fitting socket to ensure a strong bond.
2. Measure and mark the depth of the socket on the pipe port for precise alignment.
3. Apply adhesive with care; start with the socket, then the fitting, ensuring an even and appropriate coating throughout.
4. Align the direction correctly, insert until the marked area, and rotate the pipe 1/4 turn for optimal fitting.
5. Clean any excess adhesive from the socket to maintain a tidy finish.
6. Allow the bonded pipe to stand until the interface fully cures, securing a durable connection.
★Adhesive usage safety guidelines:
1. Use adhesives and cleaning agents as needed; restrict usage to trained operators only.
2. Avoid open flames near the bonding area and ensure proper ventilation at all times.
3. Refrain from constructing below -10ºC, and never use fire to expedite adhesive curing.
4. Equip construction personnel with gloves. In case of adhesive contact with eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention.
Installation instructions
Saw pipe and groove:
Determine the saw pipe length precisely based on measurements and fitting dimensions. Select tools like fine-tooth saws, cutters, or pipe cutting machines for accurate cuts. Ensure the cut is flat with no deformation. For a snug fit, file the socket to a 15°-30° groove, making it 3mm or more in length and 1/3-1/2 of the pipe wall thickness. Remove debris after grooving to maintain cleanliness.
Socket protection:
Post connection, carefully clean any extruded adhesive using cotton yarn or a dry cloth with a touch of detergent like acetone. Let it sit until the interface cures, adhering to adhesive performance and climatic conditions. Extend curing time appropriately for winter conditions to ensure optimal results.
